Invitation to the International conference “Fishery branch as a main source of the economic development of the Barents Euro-Arctic region”
On the 14th of March in the Ice Palace of Murmansk, within the frames of the XIV International exhibition for fishery industry “Sea. Resources. Technologies -2013” on the main expo ground in the conference hall the International conference “Fishery branch as a main source of the economic development of the Barents Euro-Arctic region” will take place.
The date and place of the event – March 14th from 11 a.m. till 5:15 p.m., registration of the participants begins in 10:30 a.m.
The organizer of the conference is the Ministry of the economic development of the Murmansk region by support of the Committee of the fishery complex of the Murmansk region. The Moderators are the Deputy Governor of the Murmansk region Pavel Bogushevich and the head of the department of the economic development of Municipality of Finnmark Tore Gundersen.
During the official opening ceremony the following persons will greet the participants: the Governor of the Murmansk region –Marina Kovtun, Council-general of the General Consulate of the Kingdom of Norway in Murmansk Oyvind Nordsletten, the Governor of Finnmark municipality (Norway) Runar Shostad, the Deputy Head of Rosrybolovstvo Vasiliy Sokolov, the Head of the Committee of the fishery complex of the Murmansk region Oleg Zabolotskiy, the Head of the Union of the fish-managers of the North – Vladimir Grigoriev, the head of the Union of fishermen of Norway Reidar Nilsen, CEO of NP “Association of coastal fish-managers and farms of Murman” Anatoliy Evenko.
In 12.30 the will be the Signing of the Agreement between the Union of fishermen of Norway, the Union of fish-managers of the North and Association of coastal fish-managers and farms of Murman.
