The Association of coastal fishing industrialists and farms of Murman was founded in November 2000 in the Murmansk region to defend rights and to represent its members affairs in the state and other institutions and international organizations. Nowadays it consists of 32 coompanies. More then 4000 people are involved in the coastal fishing. The participants' main tasks are to develop coastal fishing and to increase the efficiency of fish catching, processing and aquaculture companies in the coastal area in the Murmansk region.
