Business programme of the exhibition “Sea. Resources. Technologies – 2014” is forme

The work session in the Union of fishery businessmen of North has taken place. The discussion concerned preparation for the XV International exhibition for fishery industry “Sea. Resources. Technologies- 2014”, which is to take place on March 19-21, 2014 in the Ice Palace of Murmansk.

The session gathered the organizer of the show – ANO “MurmanEXPOcentre” and representatives of the Ministry of the economic development of the Murmansk region, the Committee of the fishery complex of the Murmansk region, the Union of the fishery businessmen of North, the Association of coastal fisheries and farms of Murman, the State Murmansk Technical University, the Polar Scientific-Research Institution for fishery and hydrography.

During discussions the themes of the events within the frames of the wide business programme of the expo as well as lists of reports and speakers were agreed.

The following events will be held during the exhibition “Sea. Resources. Technologies-2014”:

March, 19 – The international conference “Fishing in Arctic: modern challenges, international practice, prospects”, including sections: “Modern research in Arctic”, “Law regulations of the development of fishery industry” and “Realization of the national programme of food security”;

March, 20 – The conference “International cooperation in the fishery complex”, panel discussion “regional development of coastal processing”, round table “Russian fishery complex in WTO”;

March, 21 – The seminar “Technical security means as instrument of counterstand against terrorists on the territory of extremely important objects”.

The backers of the business programme of the exhibition “Sea. Resources. Technologies – 2014” are CJSC “Baltic coast” and the General Consulate of Kingdom of Norway.
